Another One Down

Dear Jade,

I will have you know that the USB flash drive that you gave me so kindly in better days has been used to its fullest potential. I used it so much and so often that it suffered from heat damage. Parts inside melted and made the device inoperable. I have tried to recover it, even with the assistance of friends who are very familiar with the inner workings of such drives. Sadly, it is now useless. I do appreciate you giving it to me, however. I will miss it, as I miss you.
